Mr South Sudan's 21 year old Akol Dok was crowned Mister Africa International 2016 at a ceremony held at the Great Hall, UEl in London taking over from Ghana's Ian Wordi on the 22nd of October , 2016.  Mr Ideal Nigeria's Alex Gede and Mr Ghana World's Raymond Kyerematen placed second and third respectively with Madagascar's Ik Agho winning the coveted Best Body award. .
